This is the moment a hairless cat in eastern China staged the paw-fect protest to being made to dress up for the camera.
The owner – not named in local media in Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province – had dressed the puss in a trendy padded gilet and a onesie.
But the fed-up feline showed just what it thought of the outfit by walking only balanced on its front paws.
The video of the Sphynx cat – shared on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, on 7th December – shows the cat sitting on a table and seemingly staring at its owner in utter confusion.
The footage shows the clothed kitty attempting to get down from the table, then jumping onto its front paws and continuing to walk with its hind legs in the air.
The owner said that she felt that her pet was pitiful and funny at the same time.
Netizens were incredibly amused by the cat’s sudden acrobatic antics.
And user ‘Chen 666’ wrote: “It is said that the hairless cats are not good-looking, but they are really good. Once I went to a cat cafe and didn’t buy canned food, no cat paid attention to me. I just played with my mobile phone alone. Only one hairless cat saw my loneliness and came over. I petted it, and it fell asleep in my arms.”
