A fashion lover has wowed social media users after posting images of the exquisite costumes she designed for her cat while dressing it up like a traditional Chinese porcelain doll.
The stunning and colourful ensembles also come with unique headpieces made especially for the feline’s tiny build.
The unnamed costume creator from the city of Hangzhou, in eastern China’s Zhejiang Province, said she first got her inspiration from traditional blue and white Chinese porcelain.
Being a major in fashion design, the talented woman decided to make the best use of her skill and came up with the fun idea of creating outfits for her pet.
During her time in school, the woman said she was greatly influenced by the traditional fashion style, and searched for ways to promote her much loved Chinese culture.
She posts images of her fabulous German Rex cat modelling the costumes on Douyin – China’s version of TikTok – and netizens seemingly cannot get enough of the creations.
Douyin user ‘Lissa’ said in a comment: “They should all be featured in a show during Fashion Week.”
Another user – under the handle ‘Zheng He’ – wrote: “God! A perfect interpretation of what is peerless elegance.”
And it seems netizens were especially captivated by one piece of footage – where a black-and-gold getup makes the puss almost resemble an Egyptian queen.
User ‘Cute pet garden’ wrote: “This cat looks so noble and glamorous.”
