This is the moment a Chinese fireman playing football in his downtime accidentally scores a long-range goal by volleying it into a basketball net from far off court.
Footage from the Fengxian District fire service in China’s eastern port city of Shanghai shows two uniformed firemen having a kickabout on a basketball court on 2nd March.
One of the rescuers standing in the distance, off the court, flicks the ball up with his right foot and juggles it briefly before volleying it towards his colleague.
The pair watch as the ball is launched high up into the air before landing incredibly accurately into the basketball net.
The satisfying shot shows the ball not even hitting the backboard as it swooshes through the net and bounces back onto the basketball court.
The point-scorer’s colleague appears impressed by the effort as the video ends.
According to reports, the fireman who kicked the ball is a basketball fan but appears skilled at football too.
Social media users on short-video sharing platform Douyin, which is known in English-speaking markets as Tik Tok, have suggested he should play for China.

The official account for Pizhou Traffic Police wrote: “There’s a lesson for the national team.”
The Huo County Fire Department added: “Brother, the national team needs you.”
China’s struggling men’s national team can still qualify for Qatar 2022 but must win their matches against Maldives and Guam to advance to the third round.
They currently sit second in Group A behind leaders Syria, who are on course for qualification with five wins out of five.
