The footage shows two men approaching a young, snow-covered camel lying on the ground and desperately trying to free itself from some metal wire that has become entangled around its leg.

Its concerned mother can be seen standing nearby after her panicked cries alerted the two men to the situation.

One of the men, who has been named as Mr Li, was passing by and he saw the scene, so he decided to help the young camel.

He can be seen approaching the young animal lying in the snow and carefully unravelling the metal wire from around its leg.

The Bactrian camel (Camelus bactrianus), also known as the Mongolian camel, can then be seen getting to its feet gingerly before immediately seeking safety by its mother’s side.

The men then slowly walked away after having successfully freed the young camel from its ordeal.

The camels can be seen standing in the snow and looking at the two men, who also reportedly waved goodbye to the camels as they left the scene.

It is currently unclear if the young camel was injured and if it required any veterinary treatment.
