Twin Sisters Celebrate 100th Birthday Together

Two twin sisters born in 1924 have celebrated their 100th birthday together.

Cachita and Carlota had a huge party in the town of Rio de los Sauces, where they were born and where Cachita still lives. In the Argentine province of Cordoba, on 1st February, it has now emerged in local media.

Carlota now reportedly lives in the nearby town of Berrotaran, but the pair got together to mark one century on the earth together.

The two women, both widows, have children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who along with their neighbours and other family members decided to create a long cortege of cars honking their horns to honour them.
