Small Bear Uses Family’s Swimming Pool To Cool Off

This is the adorable moment a small black bear makes the most of a swimming pool to cool off as temperatures soar to nearly 100 degrees.

The youngster’s antics were caught on camera by a neighbour as it frolicked in the open-air pool in a garden in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

At first all that seems to be visible are the bear’s ears as it soaks up the water in its thick winter coat.

Then as it heaves itself back onto dry land, the bear seems to sense it is being watched.

As it swivels its head to face the camera its ears spin around trying to work out where the noise is coming from before the footage ends.

Temperatures in the city peaked at 36 degrees Celsius last week, or 96 degrees Fahrenheit.

On the same day, locals reportedly spotted another bear taking rubbish bags out of a family’s bins.

Bears sightings are reportedly common in Nuevo Leon since the animals started to come into town to look for food.

City officials have asked people not to feed them or approach them.
