Pop Star Performs In Bubble To Protect From Coronavirus

This is the bizarre moment a pop singer performs to thousands of fans in the middle of a huge bubble seemingly to stop himself from contracting COVID-19.

The scene took place as the lead singer German rockers Rammstein Till Lindemann played at the VTB Arena in the Russian capital Moscow.

In the video, the singer can be seen in a huge plastic bubble with a guitarist.

The bubble makes its way through the crowd as Lindemann blasts out his hits.

Local media report the Rammstein singer decided to split the concert into two smaller shows after Moscow banned any concerts or public events involving more than 5,000 people.

Fans reportedly suspected he was using the bubble to protect himself from contracting COVID-19 but the eccentric singer did reportedly later perform on stage with the other band members with no bubble.

He has another four shows scheduled in Russia but it is unclear if he plans to use the bubble in those performances too.

He recently caused controversy after releasing a provocative video dubbed ‘pornographic’ by many media reviewers for Rammstein’s 2019 single ‘Platz Eins’ (‘Number One’).

According to reports, after the raunchy video premiered, the names of the Russian women who starred in it were leaked online and they were then attacked by online trolls.
