Mutant Six-Legged Lamb Born On Farm In Turkey

A mutant sheep has been born with six legs on a farm in Turkey and the fluffy animal gets on great with the other lambs.

The mutant lamb was born in the neighbourhood of Duzova in the district of Cinar in the south-eastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir.

Local farmer Maksut Bulut was shocked when he saw the newborn lamb had six legs after being born nearly three weeks ago.

The little lamb looks normal in all other aspects except is has two extra legs emerging from below its neck area.

Newborn lamb with six legs surprises those who see it

After its birth, it did not take long for the baby lamb to become the centre of attention in the area as news started circulating on social media.

Bulut told local media that his family had been involved in farming for many years, but this was the first time they had seen anything like it.

He said: “I have never seen such a thing in my life before. I asked my father and grandfather; they have never seen a lamb born with six legs either.

“It runs along and has fun with other lambs. The only thing that is different about it is that it has six legs.”

The lamb was reportedly taken to the vet for a check up where it was confirmed that it was in perfectly good health.
