Rare Cat Left On IV Drip After Mating 5 Times At Cat Hotel

This is the posh moggy – whose kind can sell for hundreds of GBP each – who mated with at least five females in a single night at a pet hotel leaving the horny Russian Blue exhausted and needing fluid therapy.

The Russian Blue’s owner, Mr Zhao, said he and his wife left the pussycat named ‘Xiaopi’ in the hands of the pet hotel for one night as they went on holiday on 1st October.

The man from Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province in South China, said in a lengthy social media rant that he specially notified the business that Xiaopi had not been neutered.

It was not until the following day that Mr Zhao discovered Xiaopi had been let out of his cage, and was allowed to blow all his energy on a night of repeated copulation sessions with other pets.

Mr Zhao wrote: “I thought they’d be professional, but the staff member didn’t feed him during the day, and let him out to roam freely at night.

“That’s right – all the cats were free to walk around the shop, and then the employee went home.

“Between around 10:40pm and 5am, my cat mated with 5 female cats! And those are only the ones I could see in the CCTV footage.

“And the pet hotel had the nerve to be upset with me, saying some of the cat owners weren’t planning on having kittens. They wanted me to explain the situation to all the other owners.

“My f*cking cat is now exhausted and on a glucose drip – and this is my fault?”

Mr Zhao later revealed that the pet hotel apologised and offered to pay for the Russian Blue’s fluid therapy.

He said: “They’re going to compensate each pregnant cat’s owner 500 RMB (56 GBP), and have promised to sell any kittens on their behalf.

“The other owners have also told me they’ll either give me a kitten or 1,000 RMB (113 GBP) if their cats really turn out to be pregnant.”

A pedigreed Russian Blue can be worth anything between 350 to well over 1,000 GBP.

Mr Zhao said Xiaopi has since regained his strength and is in stable condition.
