Girl Interrupts Mum Anchor Live On Air Over Phone SMS

This is the moment a newsreader’s young daughter enters the screen during a live broadcast to tell her mum that she had just received a text message.

The incident took place at the studio for local channel TaghilTV in the city of Nizhniy Taghil located in the south-western Russian region of Sverdlovsk Oblast

In the footage, the anchor, named Anna Kizilova, is seen reading out the news before a little girl enters the frame and tries to hand her a phone.

When the mortified presenter tries to gently push her daughter Elizaveta out of shot, the cute girl says: “But mum, you have a message.”

The TV presenter told Central European News (CEN) that she had to collect her daughter from nursery and quickly return to work when the incident happened.

She said: “I wasn’t married at the time and my mum lived on the other side of town so there was no one I could leave her with when I had to go to work.”

Kizilova said that she was not punished by channel bosses for the live mishap.

She commented: “I was worried about losing my news role, but the producer asked the team about the public reaction and was told that it had been positive.

The incident reportedly took place in 2012, but has been shared on social media now.

When asked about the delay, Kizilova told CEN: “I just posted the old video, filmed in 2012, not realising it would be so popular.

“It quickly spread online and a local journalist was told about it and called me to ask for the permission to use it.”

According to Kizilova, she dug out the video after channel bosses asked employees to recommend their favourite moments from the last decade.

The presenter said that little Elizaveta, who is 12 years old now, wants to be an actress when she leaves school.

In 2017, US analyst Professor Robert Kelly was famously interrupted by his children when appearing on BBC World News during an interview about South Korean politics.
