In the video, the bevy of otters is seen trapped in the middle of a busy road, apparently confused.

As a security guard and several bystanders give them a wide berth, the cute otters head to the pavement and hop into an area of tall grass and plants where their little heads are seen popping up.

The otters got discouraged by the cars and passers-by and looked to get back to a safe field

According to local media, the bevy of otters was trying to cross the street, but was apparently confused by the heavy traffic at that time of the day.

A security guard tried to direct the traffic and make sure the otters could cross safely, but they turned around and jumped into the plants.

It is currently unclear how the bevy of otters ventured so far into the city and what happened to them after they were filmed trying to cross the road.

Netizen ‘Mariyana Rahmat Prob’ said: “They probably just followed a canal and end up lost! Poor otters, I hope they find their way back to the sea.”

‘Serambi Makkah’ commented: “Busy taking videos and photos and no one help the poor lost otters, my oh my!”
