Dentist Admits Grabbing 17yo Patients Boobs At Surgery

A dentist has admitted grabbing the breasts of a 17-year-old patient during a dental appointment before he allegedly told her “your breasts are not too heavy” when she complained of back pain.

Teenager Anna S. went to the dentist in Moabit an inner-city locality in the borough of Mitte, in the German capital Berlin to have her teeth looked at but she was also suffering from back pain.

Anna S. says the dentist fitted her with two crowns in her teeth but then heard about her back pain and offered to examine her, grabbing her breasts to see if they were causing the discomfort.

The case has now gone to court and the patient told the judge: “I told him about my pain and he said it could be coming from the breasts, he knew about that kind of pain, he said.

“He lifted my boobs and poked around.”

The 48-year-old dentist named in local media only as Ben Y. defended himself by saying: “I did it because the woman told me she had back pain.

“She said to me: ‘Maybe it is because my boobs are too heavy’.”

He says he took the woman’s complaint seriously: “I asked her if I could take a look at her neck and back.

“Then I asked her if I could lift her breasts up briefly and she agreed. I lifted her breasts up for a second but did not lift her top up.”

He said: “You have to look at the muscular system to see where there may be tensions. That is part of the diagnostic procedure. I told her that her legs are a slightly different length and that her pelvis is slightly misaligned.”

He also said: “I did not touch her breasts out of sexual reasons, but because of medical reasons.”

He later admitted the examination was probably more for an orthopaedic doctor.

Anna S. said: “(After the examination) I could not eat for days but I did not report the dentist. I was too ashamed.”

Only after she told her boyfriend did he report it to the police.

The patient told the court he felt her bottom and her breasts, and gave her compliments, saying: “Your breasts are not too heavy.”

But the dentist said: “It is not true. I did not touch her bottom. I asked her at the end of the examination if the treatment was OK.”

The prosecutor said: “I have never heard of such an examination at the dentist.”

They added: “That went too far.”

The sexual abuse case has been stopped by the court after all parties agreed a settlement and the dentist agreed to pay 5,000 EUR (4,500 GBP) to be shared between the victim and an organisation to support victims of sexual violence.
