Chinese Artist Creates Jaw-Dropping Dragon By Walking Over Fresh Snow

Chinese artist creates a jaw-dropping dragon in the snow by just walking over a fresh snowfall.

The artist identified only as Zhao became a sensation after he stepped through the snow and made a dragon resembling Mushu, a beloved character from Disney’s 1998 animated classic Mulan.

In the 20-second-long recording, Zhao can be seen walking over the snow-covered surface in the city of Shahe, in China’s northern Hebei Province, as he tracks out the giant 100-metre-long (328 feet) dragon.

In an interview with local media, Zhao said that it took him more than two hours to complete the design, which he hoped would bring everyone good fortune in the coming year.

According to the Chinese zodiac, 2024 is the ‘Year Of the Dragon’ and is expected to bring growth, success, prosperity, and abundance.

The spectacular sight stunned many passers-by who halted to record Zhao’s creation on camera.

Zhao said after sharing the footage on his Douyin (the Chinese TikTok) profile: “I don’t know if anyone likes such designs, but I want to wish everyone good luck in the Year of the Dragon in advance!”

Stunned social media users praised the young artist’s work in the comment section.

Douyin user ‘Come on Li Qianjin’ said: “Chinese Dragon. Next year will be the Year of the Dragon. It’s a good sign. Those who see this picture will have good luck in the Year of the Dragon.”
