As a terrifying showdown between two of the wildlife world’s most dangerous animals, this is definitely more tooth and awww than tooth and claw.
Because this is the moment when an adorable bear cub squares up to a young tiger at a zoo in Pingnan, Guangxi Province, southern China.
The footage – shared on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok – shows the bear rising up on its back legs ready for the bout.
The tiger cub, though, seems less keen as it lays on the floor, apparently baffled by its pal’s antics.
But as the bear crashes down on top of it, the young tiger makes good use of its powerful back legs to push it away.
At times, the bear cub seems more enthusiastic than skilful as it topples over after losing its balance in two legs.
The young tiger though, has definitely earned its stripes after fending off repeated play attacks.
Douyin users were in delight by the lovable footage and took to the social media platform to comment.
A user titled ‘baa baa baa sheep’ commented: “Such a cute bear, give it to me.”
Another user titled ‘Self-knowledge’ commented: “Little Tiger: Believe it or not, I can knock you over with one foot. Little Black Bear: I don’t believe it, watch me jump up and hit you.”
