This shocking image shows a woman’s badly-damaged boob that “exploded” after she had plastic surgery to make it bigger.
According to local media, the unnamed woman has reported the Persona Nova clinic in the city of Kurgan in the south-central Russian region of Kurgan Oblast to the local authorities.
She visited the clinic in September 2018 to undergo mastopexy, which raises sagging breasts by changing and modifying their shape and elevation.
Soon after the surgery, her health began to deteriorate rapidly and she was rushed to a nearby hospital and admitted into the intensive care unit.
She told local media: “My right breast had swelled and I was experiencing horrible pain because of the fluid that had accumulated inside.
“I went to the clinic, but I did not receive help in time. After that, my breast exploded and I found myself in the intensive care unit.”
She has reported the clinic to the police and Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor).
According to the woman, after reporting the clinic she received a death threat from several burly men.
She said: “I was sitting in the car with a Roszdravnadzor employee talking about the matter when a car pulled over nearby. Some unknown men got out and approached us. They said they would kill us if we did not stop.”
According to local media, the woman has reported the death threat to the police.
The director of Persona Nova has yet to comment on the matter as the investigation continues.
