Belgian media have reported that the 22-year-old heiress apparent to the Belgian throne has fallen in love with an Englishman named as Nicholas Dodd, 20, while studying at Oxford in the UK.
This is according to Belgian newspaper ‘Het Laatste Nieuws’, which said that the pair met while they were both studying at the university, and that they spent a lot of time together after finding themselves in the same study group.
The newspaper reported that the pair are in a relationship that “transcends friendship”. He reportedly studies History and they are said to have met during shared classes.
An unnamed source reportedly told Belgian media: “They immediately hit it off. They found themselves in the same study group and there was an instant connection. They then studied and worked on different projects together.”

“Just like all his other friends, I can’t comment any further.”
