Photos Of Taxi Driver Who Killed 6 In Murder Suicide

This is the first picture of the taxi driver father who killed himself after shooting his fiancee and five of her family members dead – including a ten-year-old child.

The tragic incident took place in the capital city of Zagreb in north-western Croatia, when the killer, 36-year-old taxi-driver Igor Nadj, arrived at his fiance’s house.

He gunned down his fiance, Maja Tojagic, 34, her son Paulo Zamboni, 10, her sister Josipa Tojagic, 29, her and her sister’s parents – father Dragomir Tojagic, 61 and mother Filjka Tojagic, 63, – and her sister’s fiance Davor Pausak, 29, at the house.

He killed six people in total while reportedly only leaving alive his two-month-old baby boy, who he had with Maja. The baby was found unharmed.

He then fled the scene and shot himself in the head just before his arrest, according to local media.

A witness told local media: “I was on the balcony when I heard the shots. They were most probably from a gun, but then a female moaning was heard.”

The motive for the murders is not clear but is believed it was jealousy.

Maja’s unnamed former colleague told local media: “Maja was a good woman and a good colleague. We worked in a massage salon.

“Igor came to her for a massage and that is how their relationship started. She was divorced and had a child. She took care of the child like a real mother.

” I knew Igor was dealing drugs and that he was trafficking. Maja never complained about him, but that was the beginning of their relationship.”

An unnamed neighbour said: “He never showed that he could do such a thing. They were in a relationship for three years and should have got married.”

The Mayor of Zagreb Milan Bandic described the attack as an “isolated incident”.

The police are still investigating the motives for the murders.
