Monkey Hitchhikes Bus And Grooms Passenger’s Head As Others Flee

Passengers fled from a bus after a monkey climbed on board and sat calmly inspecting an elderly passenger’s hair.

The incident happened on the bus in Lucknow, the capital of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

The footage shows the passengers going out of the bus one by one, while others that have already climbed off can be seen standing next to it peering back at the monkey.

As the camera pans back to the door of the almost empty bus, the monkey can be seen sitting behind an elderly passenger, while holding his head.

Surprisingly, it then starts to inspect the man’s hair, seemingly unbothered by the chaos it has caused.

The footage then records more passengers going out of the bus, and joining the large crowd beside the vehicle.

As most of them smile at the incident the unexpected visitor has caused, the camera records the inner part of the bus, showing the monkey sitting in the same place while leaning on the man’s shoulders.

The man appears to be too scared to move, and another man sitting next to him leans as far away as possible but cannot climb out without disturbing the monkey. And so is stuck in his seat.

Netizens joked after the video was posted on X (formerly Twitter), with ‘akbarmastankhan’ saying: “Had it been told about the rent here, it might have gone into the forest again.”
