After falling, the animal can be seen attacking the trainer and trying to scratch him with its claws.

The animal can then be seen struggling to pull away from the man before running backstage as screams can be heard from the crowd.

According to local media, there were many children sitting in the audience including in the front rows and the lynx could have caused injuries if it escaped as no barriers were installed between the stage and the audience.

Many netizens slammed the circus for using wild animals in their shows and not putting up a cage to protect people.

Netizen named ‘bari_boo’ said: “I wish they forbid soon this violence against animals”

Another internet user named ‘tekstil_dom_almaty’ said: “They need to ban wild animals from performing in circuses at government level. When will this violence against animals stop?!”
