A lawyer is suing the German state for compensation after a COVID-19 vaccine jab allegedly left him partially blind in one eye.
Christian P. ,47, from Germany, said he was in perfect health before he had his first AstraZeneka vaccine on 10th June, 2021.
He told local media: “Above all, I wanted to protect my father, but also other people with whom I came into contact.
“I did a lot of sports, was often on the mountain bike and was practically never sick.”
Christian said that five days later, he could not read or speak properly.
Medics at the Augsburg clinic diagnosed he had thrombosis in the head, which was in connection with the vaccine, according to the lawyer.
Christian said he suffered massive brain bleeding and loss of consciousness.
An emergency surgery then left him paralyzed on one side and partially blind in his left eye.
He said he spent over 200 days in hospital and rehab and added: “I lack spatial understanding. I lost my sense of direction.
Now, he says he cannot drive a car or a motorbike and wears a 3D-printed skull implant which causes constant pain.

But, Christian said, when he demanded compensation from the state, he approved only a EUR 549 (GBP 472) pension.
He said: “The state is letting us down. We are fobbed off according to the War Victims’ Provision Act of 1950.
“I will not receive any compensation for the damage or compensation for pain and suffering.”
In Bavaria, only 125 cases of vaccination-related permanent health injuries have been recognized so far, according to local media.
Christian said: “I would never have thought it possible that this could happen in a social constitutional state like Germany.”
He also advocated for more information about the side effects and better care for those who have been vaccinated.
He said: “It must not be the case that we are left in the lurch even though we have sacrificed ourselves for society.”
Christian will now appeal and ask for compensation at the Augsburg court.
