Loyal Dog Stays By Owner After He Dies From Heart Attack

This image shows the loyal poodle as it stays next to its owner’s body after he died on the pavement of a suspected heart attack.

The incident took place around 8 am on Monday in the municipality of Venustiano Carranza, in the Mexican capital Mexico City when the authorities were told an old man was unconscious on the pavement of Martires de Chicago street.

When police officers arrived at the scene they reportedly found the body of Juan Alba Romero, 64, on the pavement with his white poodle by his side.

The officers called the emergency services and paramedics reportedly arrived at the scene and confirmed that the man had died from a suspected heart attack.

The officers covered the body but the white poodle, in a pink coat stayed next to the corpse, as can be seen in the photo.

Shortly after, the son of the victim, named Abraham Manjarra, 37, went to the scene and identified the body as that of his father. He told the police officers that the victim had gone out of the house to buy milk as he usually does.

The dog was reportedly waiting for its owner and did not leave the scene. It is unclear what has happened to the loyal pooch now but some media outlets suggest the son may have taken it with him.
