This is the video ad made to showcase a newly released AK-19 assault rifle made by Russian Defence manufacturer Kalashnikov Concern.
Kalashnikov Concern, with headquarters in the city of Izhevsk in the western Russian region of Udmurtia republic, is a well-known sporting, hunting, aircraft and, most notoriously, machine gun manufacturer.
The company recently revealed the release of their new AK-19 assault rifle, which, according to information, shared on their official Instagram page, is the upgraded version of the previous AK-12, which was very popular and received many orders from abroad.
The video, accompanied by dramatic music, shows the gun from different angles and lists its features, including barrel length, which is 415 millimetres (16.33 inches) and the weight – 3,350 grams (7.38 pounds).
At the end of the video, a man can be seen shooting the rapid-fire machine gun, with bullet cases flying from the gun as he hits a target at the other end of the room.
According to an official statement: “A distinctive feature of this assault rifle is the different curvature of the store sector. Among the advantages: high accuracy and accuracy of combat, improved mechanical sights.”
According to the manufacturer, the AK-19 design allows the use of modern sighting systems and additional equipment.
