Hero Cop Saves Fallen Train Passengers Life

This is the moment a super fit police officer saves a bleeding man’s life by carrying him down a railroad to safety for over a kilometre after he fell from a moving train.

The startling incident occurred after 35-year-old Ajit fell from a moving train near Pagdhal railway station in Hoshangabad district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

In the video, police officer Poonamchand Billore can be seen with train driver Rahul Salkalle as the police constable works to help Ajit who is lying in pain on the ground.

The pair work to lift the fallen passengers as he yelps in pain and Billore, 29, then puts him over his shoulder.

The officer then carries the injured man down the tracks as a train speeds past.

Reports state Billore carried the injured Ajit, whose surname has not been reported, over one kilometre to a nearby train station for medical treatment.

The police officers told reporters that Ajit had been “bleeding and in pain” but there was no other way of dealing with the situation other than carrying him to safety.

Billore, a reported fitness enthusiast, says he then called Ajit’s family members to inform them of the incident.

Ajit was taken to a nearby medical centre before being transferred to Hoshanagabd district hospital to be treated for a head injury.

Reports state Ajit is out of danger and local police chief Suni Patel said that Billore’s “timely response saved Ajit’s life”.
