Geordie Miss England Hired To Lure Brits To Bodrum Bars

Sexy model and Miss England 2018 Alisha Cowie has been chosen by Turkish officials as the face of a campaign to lure Brits to tourist hot spots including Bodrum and Marmaris.

According to local media, 19-year-old Cowie from Newcastle upon Tyne will appear in a promotional video for the south-western Turkish province of Mugla.

The gorgeous Geordie lass, crowned Miss England 2018, will showcase the region’s most treasured hotspots and filming will take place in the districts of Marmaris, Dalaman, Ortaca, Koycegiz, Fethiye and Ula.

The shoot will take place over three days and will begin in Ortaca District.

The blue-eyed ‘English rose’ recently posed with primary school students in the ancient city of Kaunos for local reporters ahead of the video shoot.

The teen model even visited the Sultaniye Thermals on the shores of Lake Koycegiz where she enjoyed a mud bath

The Geordie stunner told local media that she visited Turkey nine years ago when she was a child, saying: “I don’t remember much from that time. Turkey is a very beautiful place, I am amazed.

The video aims to be emitted on social media, mostly in England but in other countries too

“For the first time in my life I drank pomegranate juice and ate blue crab. Both were very tasty!”

She added: “I now understand why this area is so popular, because it has a mystical beauty. I also understood why Brits come here when I saw those places with my own eyes.

“My message to those who haven’t visited this area is to come and see it for themselves.”

Dalaman Airport official Hamdi Guvenc said: “We are aiming to launch a long-running and effective promotion in England. We will target millions of people on social media with the video of Alisha Cowie promoting the region.”
