According to local media, the unnamed woman was travelling alone when she started to convulse and make strange noises.
A male passenger, reportedly with a foreign accent, assisted the woman and led her through some religious rituals, according to reports.
He held her head and said prayers in hope of expelling the alleged evil spirits inhabiting the woman’s body.
In the footage, the woman is seen coughing and spluttering in front of other passengers as the man reportedly asked the devil to expel the woman’s demons.
He can be heard saying: “By the Holy Spirit, walk to the mouth in the name of Jesus. Leave and never come back. Come on, walk to the mouth, leave through the mouth.
“Make her free, by the blood of Christ that has power.”
According to reports, a woman in the carriage approached the pair with a bottle apparently filled with oil, which is sometimes used during exorcisms.
The young woman and the exorcist both got off the train at the Villa Luro station.
