This is the moment a Russian zookeeper attacks a bear which appears to be very young and scared while ‘cleaning’ its enclosure.
The incident was filmed by a zoo visitor in the city of Simferopol, the second-largest city on the Crimean Peninsula and the capital of the Republic of Crimea, and was later shared on social media where it has been viewed nearly 40,000 times.

In the footage, a burly zookeeper is seen fighting the bear before grabbing it roughly by the neck.
As the bear growls, he wrestles it to the ground before the stocky animal manages to break free.
The burly zookeeper then chases it away with a shovel.
The video ends with the zoo worker and a colleague leaving the enclosure as the bear stands on top of its den, apparently afraid.
Netizen ‘Andrey Rus’ said: “This guy is stupid. He could be dead now if he hit the bear a bit harder.”
‘Olga Kostromskaya’ commented: “I think it is time to stop using cages on animals and put humans there instead.”
