Things were looking a little deer at this McArthurGlen outlet centre when a pair of curious deer were spotted wandering peacefully among the shops.
The British company’s outlet centre where the deer were spotted is located at Parndorf in Burgenland on the Austrian side of the border with Hungary and is usually packed with tourists travelling between both countries, as well as people from nearby Slovakia.
But it has been empty now for weeks and because it is located in a remote location without private residences in the area, it has been completely deserted, with no shop workers and no customers.
That meant the herd of curious deer started grazing around nearby car parks, and then wandered in among the shops as well to see what they could find.
The snap was taken as they peered in through a window of the otherwise normally packed outlet centre.
The post was shared by a netizen named as ‘Stefan Traummaennlein’ who added the comment “window shopping” and it was quickly retweeted, attracting comments like ‘Sabina Beck’ who described the scene in the landlocked agricultural region as depicting “Burgenland dolphins”.
