This is the moment a young boy dangling from a ski lift falls to the ground when a bungling rescuer jumps onto it and then himself becomes stuck upside down.
The incident took place on the Kupres ski slope near the town of Kupres in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the youngster, who has not been named in reports, failed to get off the ski lift, with his would-be rescuers then deciding to stop the lift and put a bench under it to help him down. It is unclear why they decided to stop the lift so high above the ground.

The workers managed to take the youngster’s skis off but when he tried to get down his hood became caught on the seat.
In the video, the boy can be seen dangling from the ski lift by his hood as concerned onlookers wait below and try to reach his legs.
The boy carries on dangling until a would-be rescuer climbs up a nearby pillar and lunges onto the lift causing the boy to go flying, landing head first in the snow.
As the youngster gingerly gets to his feet, the worker then nearly falls off himself before momentarily becoming stuck. Finally, he manages to climb down with the help of the other rescuers below.
It is unclear if the boy was injured in the incident.
Netizen ‘Sanel Sehic’ commented: “What was this kid playing at?”
And ‘Ana Brkic Dzido’ added: “Thank God it’s not a tragedy, he is alive.”
