Adorable Panda Sits In A Swing And Basks In The Sunshine

Giant panda captured the hearts of online users when zoogoers filmed it enjoying a day of sun and leisure as it sat on a swing in its enclosure.

The carefree panda, named Yayi, appeared lost in thought as it gazed in the distance and swung on its swing at Guangzhou Zoo, in China’s southern Guangdong Province, with its back turned at curious observers.

With its front paws, it held onto the ropes to avoid falling over while its hind legs hung freely above the grass.

Many users on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, were captivated by the sight.

One user titled ‘J’ commented: “How did she climb up there and sit so upright?”

Another user titled ‘Wanwan’ wrote: “This is how our national treasure should live, just looking at it is very healing.”

And others even suggested it must be a human in costume, with user ‘good’ saying: “Stop pretending. I can see the zipper.”
