The moment of fun was captured at Beijing Zoo in China and shows the panda named Mengda displaying his ability to dry himself off.
It is unclear how the towel ended up in his enclosure, but once he spotted it, he did not hesitate to grab it and begin using it.
The video shows how with meticulous care, he proceeded to wipe his furry face, head, and even his round belly, showcasing his attention to detail.
The panda’s dedication to cleanliness was evident as he repeated the wiping motion several times, dabbing every inch of his adorable self to make sure no part was missed.
The video was posted on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, and received 150,000 likes, almost 10,000 comments, and 55,000 shares.
Netizen ‘BaiWei’ commented: “What a fastidious bear, he also knows how to wash his face.”
