TV Host Slammed For Posing With Fox Killed On Hunt

This Russian TV host has been slammed after posting a pic of himself posing with a fox he killed during a hunt.

Dmitry Talabuev, 51, is one of the hosts of the Dobroye Utro TV (Morning Show) on Russia’s main TV station – Channel One – in the central Russia’s city of Krasnoyarsk in Krasnoyarsk Krai region.

Talabuev, who has his own small segment on the show dedicated to self-defence, recently posted a photo from his winter hunting trip.

In the snap, he is lifting up the body of a dead fox in his hands and mentioned that the photo was dedicated to ‘real men’ as he told his followers that should not start ‘whining like little girls’ when they saw the image.

Many of his followers found this photo unethical and massively slammed the TV host, leading to him taking it down.

Netizens shared comments such as “what did this fox do to you?” and “hunting in 2020 is somewhat strange, as humans have destroyed hundreds of ecosystems, and eliminated hundreds of species”.

Another netizen added: “Killing something and showing off is a sign of being a b*stard from the ethical point of view.”

The Channel One host said: “Guys! What’s wrong with you? You are talking like tolerant Europeans!”

He also said that he would only be ready to engage in a conversation on the topic with men who go hunting and leave ‘their women at home’.

However, he later deleted this comment too.
