Singer Performs In Dressing Room For Paralysed Girl

This is the touching moment a popular singer performs in his dressing room for a paralysed little girl to her obvious delight.

Mexican star Julion Alvarez, 35, met the young fan, named only as Regina, before a recent concert in the city of Culiacan in the north-western Mexican state of Sinaloa.

An eyewitness with a smartphone filmed the moment the singer took time out to make the wheelchair-bound girl’s day.

Alvarez took off his trademark hat and bent down to kiss a clearly excited Regina on the cheek and on the hand.

And then he sang her favourite song, ‘Te Hubieras Ido Antes’ (You Had Gone Before), for her in his dressing room.

Regina’s parents had taken her to see her favourite singer and had decided to try to take her backstage to meet him.

And Alvarez showed his compassionate side by inviting them into his dressing room and giving the little girl a day to remember.

Netizen ‘Lupita Ortiz’ commented: “I was about to cry seeing what a beautiful person you are, God bless you always.”

And ‘aby ochoa’ added: “That is why I adore you for having a big heart and making that little girl happy.”

Alvarez has been nominated for a Grammy Award and has won two Latin Grammy Awards.

Last year, the US Treasury Department froze his assets in the US over his alleged links to drugs kingpin Raul Flores Hernandez.

Alvarez denies the allegations. Flores Hernandez is said to have links to the infamous Sinaloa Cartel currently featured on the ‘Narcos: Mexico’ TV series on Netflix.
