Shocked Diner Finds Live Caterpillar In His Pizza At Top Footballer’s Restaurant

A revolted customer finds a very hungry caterpillar munching his pizza in a trendy restaurant owned by a top footballer.

The diner had ordered lunch at the Italian restaurant Arrogante in Bogota, the capital of Colombia, which is reportedly owned by football star James Rodriguez.

But when he was halfway through the meal, he noticed a bright green caterpillar working its way through the garnish on his pizza.

Video footage from the table at the Arrogante restaurant shows the creepy crawly working its way through the salad as the diner laughs in shock.

The customer, named only as Miguel, took to social media to share the sickening experience.

He said: “The restaurant is aesthetically beautiful and its speciality is Italian food, the staff’s attention was very good.

“We asked for the ‘Arrogante experience’ which, for those who don’t know, in a restaurant is step by step where they serve you the most relevant dishes.”

Miguel said: “My friend noticed that something was moving on the pizza and it was a worm. Obviously, the ‘experience’ went from 10 to zero.

“I am a super calm person, I didn’t make a scene because I understand that we all make mistakes.”

Miguel and his friend called the manager but did not reveal how the dispute was resolved.

He added: “Anyway, the most expensive is not always the best, always check your food.”

The restaurant has not commented on the footage, according to local media.
