Sheriff’s Deputy Separates Hawk And Snake Trying To Kill Each Other

Brave Alachua County sheriff’s deputy avoids getting bitten by a snake and a hawk after separating the two that were fighting on the pavement.

The sheriff’s deputy had spotted the bird after it tried to make a meal of the snake.

Eventually, the snake ended up turning the tables, wrapping itself around the bird’s body.

None of the animals seems to be getting the better of the other, so the deputy steps in to sort out the dispute by separating the two – while trying to avoid getting bitten himself.

He uses towels to move the snake and the bird into the nearby voyage.

The bird is untangled and the black-coloured snake then slides away into the undergrowth, leaving the stunned and out-of-breath bird to recover camouflaged among the leaves.

He then called back to his astonished colleagues in the control room, confirming that he also got everything on camera.

Alachua County Sheriff said in a statement obtained by Newsflash: “Deputies never know what the next call will be. Deputy Aldous was able to separate these two and save the day!”
