Two of the three men, identified as Karen Khachatryan and Armen Davtyan, are suspected of being arms traffickers, according to local media.
Reports also said that the three men, the third of which has not been named, are believed to have taken part in several burglaries in the area.
The local authorities explained that the group was considered dangerous and possibly in the possession of firearms which is why the special forces officers, known as ‘Spetsnaz’, acted quickly and arrested the men on a public street.
To avoid a potential gunfight, arresting officers fired automatic rifles in the air to surprise the suspects, and the trio was removed from the car and detained on the ground in seconds.
In the footage, the sound of machine-gun fire fills the air as uniformed servicemen forcefully remove the screaming occupants from the black Ford and arrest them on the tarmac.
It is unclear if the suspects have been charged.
