Rubbish Dump Teen In Model Hopes After Vogue Appearance

This 13-year-old girl who lives with her three siblings and mother in poverty near a rubbish dump is hoping to become a supermodel after appearing on a catwalk broadcast by Vogue.

Adina Asavoaie, 13, from the village of Glina in southern Romania’s Ilfov County has become a local celebrity for her looks and blossoming modelling career.

The teenager lives with her three siblings and mother in poverty near a rubbish dump in Glina.

Local media report her mother struggles to provide for the children but is hoping to set the youngsters free from poverty.

Adina is now making strides in the modelling world after posing for local fashion magazine Viva’s January edition and previously appearing on the Romanian Fashion Philosophy catwalk which was broadcast by Vogue in October 2019.

In her most recent shoot, the teenager can be seen modelling a shiny silver dress and ripped leopard-skin tights.

She appeared on the catwalk wearing a blue dress created by the Chinese fashion house Jasmine for their first kids’ collection and Vogue wrote of her appearance: “Adina, a celebrity from Romania, received a bouquet of freshly picked flowers, and finished the parade in glory.”

The teenager is reportedly working to try to lift her family out of poverty.
