These images show a dog which has had half of its snout cruelly chopped off reportedly by a drunk man “for fun” after the pooch begged him for food.
The shocking incident occurred in the state of Sabah, in north-eastern Malaysia and the Malaysian Animal Association is now offering anybody who provides full information about the perpetrator’s identity a motorcycle as a reward.

The disturbing images show the front half of the poor pooch’s snout has been chopped cleanly off. The chopped off snout can be seen on the ground while the dog has an exposed wound on its face.
The president of the Malaysian Animal Association, Arie Dwi Andika, told reporters that they are hoping for the perpetrator to be charged according to local animal welfare laws after being caught. Reports suggest the dog had been cut by a drunk man because it had been begging for food.
Andika said the man had reportedly “committed the act for fun”.
The pooch is reportedly being looked after by a local animal association but Andika says that the vet who has treated it has recommended for the animal to be put down because of the wound’s severity.
The animal association have offered a Daelim History S125 motorbike as a reward for anyone who provides the full identity of the perpetrator. The scooter costs 9,500 MYR (1,891 GBP).
No arrests have been reported and the police are investigating.
