Mutant Goat Grows Third Horn On End Of Ear

This is the moment a Turkish farmer shows a third horn growing on the ear of a mutant goat he just bought at market.

Hamit Duyar, 39, who works in animal husbandry in the northern Turkish province of Zonguldak, said he noticed that the goat had a third horn growing on in its ear after buying it.

Hamit, who first thought the extra horn was somehow stuck onto the goat’s ear, said he tried to remove it but was unable to and stopped when he noticed the animal’s ear starting to bleed.

He added that he was stunned when realised the horn was genuinely growing on the end of the animal’s ear.

Hamit said: “I was confused when I saw something swinging on its ear. I looked at it and wondered what it was. After examining it thoroughly, I realised it was a third horn growing on the ear.

“It is the first time I’ve ever seen anything like this. I shared images of the animal on social media. People did not believe me at first.”

According to the news site Haberler, people from surrounding areas have flocked to his home to see the three-horned goat.

Hamit said that he was pleased with the attention from residents in surrounding villages and cities, but he does not know what to do with the mutant goat for the time being.

He added: “I’m not even thinking about selling the goat right now. It has become a centre of attention, people are coming to see it. But if there is someone better equipped at caring for the animal than us, then I will happily give the goat to that person.”
