Muslim Sacrifice Bull In A Turkey Shop Breaks Window

This is the moment a sacrificial bull gives its owners the run around during the Muslim Eid al-Adha festival and enters a supermarket before crashing through a window to dodge the dinner plate.

The incident was filmed in the district of Serik in the south-central Turkish province of Adiyaman during the Islamic holiday Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of the Sacrifice.

According to reports, the bull was being transferred to a slaughterhouse on the back of a lorry when it managed to jump off and escape.

It roamed the streets for a while before entering a supermarket and spooking local shoppers as it wandered along the aisles.

While its carers were chasing the bull through the supermarket, the stocky animal charged at the front window and smashed its way through.

Store manager Mehmet Bal told local media that the customers were panicked by the rampant bull, adding: “I was in the back office when I heard a commotion. When I came to look, I saw customers running around everywhere in fear.

“Then I saw the bull roaming the aisles. It walked around for a while before smashing through the entrance.

“Luckily, no one was injured. We suffered damage that will cost around 6,000 TRY (885 GBP).”

According to local media, the Muslim owner eventually managed to catch the bull and then took it to the slaughterhouse to celebrate Eid al-Adha.
