Mum Looking For Teenage Daughter Who Has Been Missing In Turkey For Over A Week

A British mum is looking for her pretty teenage daughter who has been missing in Turkey for over a week.

Skyler Watkins, a 17-year-old British teenager, went missing in the municipality of Fethiye, a port city in Mugla Province, on Turkey’s south-western coast, while on holiday with her family, according to local media.

Her worried mother, Gemma Thorpe, has reportedly appealed to the local authorities for help in finding her daughter.

The police and the gendarmerie confirmed to local media that they are now actively looking for Skyler, and have started searches in the area where she disappeared.

Skyler was last seen in Oludeniz, in Hisaronu, which is a tourist resort in Fethiye, over a week ago, according to local reports.

There are currently no other details regarding the circumstances of Skyler’s disappearance.

Local media have said that anybody with information about the British tourist’s whereabouts should contact the local police.

Fethiye is known for its natural harbour and its clear blue waters.

It is popular with tourists and is a key area of the Turkish Riviera.
