Moment Worker Flees In Flames After Gas Blast Injures 34 In China

This is the shocking moment a worker runs out of a building covered in flames after a gas blast rocked a restaurant in China injuring 34.

The incident took place at a restaurant in the city of Miluo in the southern Chinese province of Hunan at around midday on 18th November.

In the footage, several workers are seen in a reception area as a thick gas bellows out of a side room.

While the gas appears to settle, three workers tentatively go to inspect the scene, however, the gas somehow ignites and a huge fireball fills the room as the explosion apparently knocks them off their feet.

One woman leaves through a side entrance quickly followed by another worker covered from head to toe in flames.

A number of other workers are seen leaving the burning building as the clip ends.

According to Xinhua News Agency, 34 people were injured in the blast and sent to nearby hospitals for medical attention.

Meanwhile, a cracked gas cylinder was reportedly found at the scene.

The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.

There have been no further updates on the condition of the 34 injured people.
