This is the moment a huge herd of deer are seen running for their lives as they chased by a ferocious bear along a road in rural Russia.
The incident was filmed by residents outside the city of Noyabrsk in the northern Russian region of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and posted on social media where it has been widely shared.

The clip was uploaded with the message: “Not all bears are lazy”.
In the footage, a herd of hundreds of deer is seen running along the country road as a motorist films from what appears to be a lorry.
The herd veers off the tarmac road onto a dirt track, but quickly scatter when they see a bear approaching.
The bear stands on its hind legs as if to let out a huge roar before chasing after the herd of deer.
The stocky predator crosses the road and runs after the herd, which makes it back onto the road and manages to outrun the bear.
The bear is last seen standing on its hind legs before running back to the dirt track from where it came.
The exact animal species in the footage were not mentioned by local media.
