This photograph shows a cat that was born with eight legs in Brazil, stunning locals.
The incident took place in the village of Baixinha, in the municipality of Esperantina, in the Brazilian state of Piaui.
The grey cat was apparently born with part of the body of a sibling merged into its own chest, causing it to have eight limbs, according to local media.
The photograph shows the cat with nearly two bodies, two sets of hind legs, two tails, and two front legs, with an additional two front legs apparently sticking out of its back.
A woman who witnessed the incident reportedly said: “He was born with four legs and for little hands.”
It is currently unclear if the kitten survived after the birth, with the photograph apparently showing it lying on the ground.
There have been no updates on the kitten’s condition and there is no further information regarding where exactly it was born, if it was born to a pet, or if it was a stray cat’s kitten.
