A little boy got very feisty with a tiger in a Chinese zoo as the two had a play fight through the glass.
Footage filmed by a visitor at the zoo in Huzhou, in East China’s Zhejiang Province, shows the boy and tiger throwing fists and paws at each other.
The child remains unfazed as the big cat towers over him just inches away on the other side of the glass.
The boy, who was visiting the zoo with his parents, reportedly thought the wild animal looked cute and decided to approach its enclosure.
His curiosity made for an adorable scene as he went up to the glass and began slapping it with his hands.
Amazingly, the tiger responded in kind and began hitting the other side of the glass with its paws.
The pair’s play fight was filmed by Ms Wu, who was on a visit to the zoo with friends at the time.
Ms Wu later shared the footage on Douyin – China’s version of TikTok – saying it was incredibly cute.
One Douyin user – ‘niu niu good things’ – commented: “When this kid grows up, he can brag to his classmates that he once fought a tiger.”
And netizen ‘Tutu588’ write: “The tiger finally has someone to play with.”
