This 36-year-old architect and LGBT activist has been stabbed 60 times in his house and a teenage suspect has been arrested.

The body of LGBT activist Pablo Fullana Borsato was found in his house in the city of Colon, in the eastern Argentine province of Buenos Aires with 60 stab wounds.

The suspect, named in reports as Leonel Fazzio, 19, was arrested on Sunday morning, hours before the discovery of the victim’s body, as he had allegedly tried to touch an 81-year-old woman and showed her his genitals.

When officers arrested the suspect he was reportedly wearing blood-stained clothes and the prosecutor in charge of the investigation Ignacio Uthurry said how one witness reportedly heard the suspect say: “I have just arrived from killing one, I’ve come from stabbing one,”

A cousin of the victim called the police saying he had found him dead in the house after going to the property when the victim did not answer his phone.

Uthurry said the cousin found the victim wearing only a shirt and covered in blood. The prosecutor said there was no sign of forced entry.

Police found some broken bottles in the house but nothing had reportedly had been stolen.

The victim had reportedly been out at the Fest nightclub “until he was seen last time around 3 am”.
