This is the moment a lorry driver stops to give water to a cute little anteater on a hot summer’s day before it rolls over on its back in anticipation of a refreshing shower.
The adorable little fellow was a southern tamandua (Tamandua tetradactyla), also called the collared anteater or lesser anteater, which is a species of anteater from South America.
The incident took place in the central-eastern Colombian department of Casanare during a hot summer’s day of around 28 degrees Celsius.
