This is the moment a nine-year-old boy drops dead after being hit by a stray bullet as he stands innocently on the pavement with his granddad.
The incident was filmed by a CCTV camera around 11.30pm on 4th May in the neighbourhood of Santa Maria Xixitla in San Pedro Cholula in the central Mexican state of Puebla.

According to reports, the victim and his grandfather were directing cars into the popular Hotel Posada Maria Sofia during an event taking place there.
In the video, the young victim, identified as Santiago, is seen standing on the pavement with his grandfather Ernesto, 68, as he waves a car on.
Suddenly, a flash of light is seen hitting the boy’s upper body and he falls to the ground.
The grandfather, unaware of what just happened, tries to lift the nine-year-old to his feet.
Reports said that the victim was rushed into the hotel where staff called the emergency services.
Police arrived on the scene and interviewed Ernesto, who explained that there was a holdup in the hotel car park at the time of the shooting.
The next moment, he saw his grandson lying on the ground with blood coming from his chest.
Paramedics tried to revive the nine-year-old, but he reportedly died on the scene.
He suffered a bullet wound to the left area of his chest, according to local media.
Following an initial investigation, police suspect that the boy was hit by a stray bullet as his grandfather confirmed that no one attacked him directly.
The probe is ongoing.
