Hungry Seal Tries To Break Into Fish Processing Plant

This is the moment an apparently hungry seal stands up tall as it appears to try to get inside a fish processing plant as another seal looks on.

The two large seals, the exact species of which was not reported, managed to get onto the property of a fish processing plant located in an unidentified town on the Kamtchatka Peninsula in north-eastern Russia.

Footage recorded by an onlooker who works for the plant shows one of the cute creatures standing up tall and inspecting a bin.

The seal is seen putting its head down several times into the bin to get a closer look.

Another seal, which appears to be much larger than the first, can then be seen looking on in the snow next to the water as a laughing onlooker points his phone at it.

The person recording then walks towards the larger seal which follows the camera with its eyes.

Local media have compared the seals with dogs, noting similarities on both species’ curiosity.

Kamtchatka is a 1,250-kilometre-long (780-mile) peninsula in the Russian Far East, with the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Okhotsk making up the peninsula’s eastern and western coastlines, respectively.
