Hungry Bear Recreates Jack Nicholson’s Terror Movie Scene

Huge brown bear apparently recreates Jack Nicholson’s most terrifying scene in the horror movie classic The Shining.

On screen, the actor peers manically through a hole he has just smashed through a door with an axe to get at his movie wife Shelley Duvall.

In real-life video footage, the horror is just as scary as the gigantic bruin peers in through a window it has just smashed to get to some food supplies.

Half the window frame has been battered out and – like Jack Nicholson – the bear’s head is thrust into the kitchen with a wild look in its eyes.

And the bear looks as if it has already polished off a huge pot of yoghurt before the cabin occupant in Tibet, south-western China disturbs it.

The clip – shared later on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok – gained more than 95,000 likes and 35,000 comments.

Many users urged the man to report the incident to the police.

To their surprise, however, he revealed in the comments: “I am a police officer myself, and if I report it, I’ll have to answer the call myself.”

He expressed his helplessness, stating that several bears frequently appear near the police station to steal food.

He and his colleagues have been visited by the bears multiple times, and it seems like the bears have made themselves at home.

The man added that they have tried various methods to deter the bears, including electric fences, barbed wire, and protective barriers, but none of them have been able to stop these “uninvited guests”.

There was even an occasion when three bears came together and took away the pots from the police officer’s dormitory.

Netizens could not help but jest, saying that sometimes even police officers feel helpless.

One user titled ‘Cyan L.’ wrote in a comment: “When I saw the ‘I am a policeman from the local police station!’, I admit that I laughed so hard that I wanted to twist and crawl all over the ground.”
