Greedy Rodent Got Stuck In Corn Bucket

This is the fat and mouse moment when a greedy rodent died after gorging on so much corn in a storage bucket it was too stuffed to get out again.

The bucket – from a home in Liaoning Province, northeast China – had been full of corn when the mouse slipped in through a hole in the lid.

But by the time it had scoffed down all the grain, its body had become too roly-poly to get back out.

The bucket’s owner – not named in local media – found the mouse dead with just its head poking out of the hole.

In a video of the rodent’s grim fate – shared on Douyin, China’s version of TokTok – he lifts the lid up to reveal the mouse’s over-stuffed body and curled-up tail.

He wrote in the clip caption: “You were so greedy to eat all this corn that even you put your life on the line.”

Netizens were apparently baffled by the unusual sight.

User ‘happy breeder’ said: “I thought this cover was quite unique, and there was a mouse head engraved on it. Taking a closer look, I realised it was a real mouse head.”
